The Atchafalaya Experience review in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

The Atchafalaya Experience is pet-friendly. The tour lasts for three hours and features large cypress trees growing in the water of the swamp, alligators, and birds such as herons, egrets, osprey, hawks, and owls. What you see is dependent upon the season and water levels, but there is always something interesting to see. Dogs tour for free, adults pay $50 and children under 12 cost $25. Bring your friendly dog along to join in the tour. There's usually a weight limit of 40lbs, although the owner does say that bigger pups are allowed if they look nice. Tours meet at the Welcome Center.
