Description

With several trip options to choose from, Conway Scenic Railroad has a trip to suit everyone. See the beautiful New Hampshire scenery aboard the Valley Train or the Mountaineer to the Notch Train. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome to join passengers in Coach cars on both trains at no charge. On the Valley Train, you’ll enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience as you journey on historic rail routes in vintage passenger cars from a 1874 train station in North Conway Village to Conway or Bartlett and back again. On the Mountaineer to the Notch Train, you’ll travel on what was once the Maine Central Railroad’s famed Mountain Division line, on tracks that were laid in the 1870s. Enjoy some of the most dramatic natural scenery in the East as you travel through spectacular Crawford Notch – past sheer bluffs, steep ravines, cascading brooks and streams, panoramic mountain vistas, across Frankenstein Trestle and Willey Brook Bridge – enroute to Crawford Depot and Fabyan station. Schedule and fares vary throughout the year. See their website for current rates.
