Joe Riley Waterfront Park review in Charleston, South Carolina

Joe Riley Waterfront Park is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome at this downtown Charleston park along the waterfront. Dozens of benches are stationed within the park, both along the river and in the well-tended green spaces just offshore, and tall palmetto trees create a slightly shaded barrier just yards away from the water's edge. The park is popular with runners, bikers and birdwatchers. The park is open every day of the week from 6am to 9pm.
