Description
Guadalupe River State Park is pet-friendly. This premium swimming spot is a great place to come for a dip, but it's more than a great swimming hole. The scenery is stunning and the park is steeped in history. The park has four miles of river frontage and 13 miles of hike and bike trails. The trails range from the 2.86-mile Painted Bunting Trail to the .26-mile Barred Owl Trail. Spend the day hiking along the river and then hop in a kayak with your pooch for an adventure on the water. Adults incur a charge of $7 and children under 12 enter for free. The access gate to the park is open every day of the week from 8am until 10pm.
