Description
Leashed dogs are welcome to join you as you hike through the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge, which plays a crucial role in the conservation of wetlands in the desert Southwest. The Refuge has four short trails and two longer trails, located adjacent to the Refuge Headquarters and Wildlife Drive. The trails are open year-round from dawn to dusk, Monday through Friday. Pets are not allowed in the Visitor Center, and should not be left unattended in a vehicle due to extreme temperatures.
