Sandy Beach (Gilmore Pond) review in Jaffrey, New Hampshire

Leashed dogs are welcome at Sandy Beach (Gilmore Pond). Visitors may park in the small parking area on Sandy Lane. From there, it is only a short walk down a well-marked, maintained wooden trail to Gilmore Pond. While there is not technically a beach area, Gilmore Pond has very clear shallow water and a sand bottom. Dog owners can swim at their own risk, as there are no lifeguards on duty. Week days tend to be mild in nature and people with dogs flock there. Sandy Beach (Gilmore Pond) is free to the public and open from dawn until dusk.
