Bark Beach at North Shore Open Space Park review in Miami Beach, Florida

Bark Beach at North Shore Open Space Park sits adjacent to the eight-block oceanfront natural area of North Shore Open Space Park (also pet-friendly for dogs on leashes) with jogging trails, exercise stations, and picnic pavilions. The park is only open for dogs Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. The adjoining North Shore is a charming neighborhood filled with tropical mid-century modern buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places - which provides a great place to dry off with an evening stroll after your swim. A great place to explore old Miami Beach the way if used to be (without the hustle and bustle of South Beach). There are also a few great restaurants nearby with pet-friendly outdoor seating - our favorite is Burgers and Shakes at Collins and 74th Street. Admission: $5 Residents / $25 Non-Residents - Annual Pass $20 for Residents. Proof of current vaccination required.
